REVISED 5/5 - Groundfish regs changed for the rest of 2004!

We link to new, revised inseason California DFG reg changes that conform with PFMC guidelines. We also link to the April PFMC Decision Document and other useful regulatory sites -- one even has pictures of the federally managed groundfish. REVISION TO NOTE: Black rockfish closed Cape Mendocino to the Oregon border 5/16-5/31/04 and September through December.

For California's recreational anglers, the changes include new depth regulations and season dates and, except for Black Rockfish in the north, will take effect on May 1. For completeness, we link to the DFG's official regulation documents for each area.

Remember, Lingcod regulations changed 4/1/04: Lingcod minimum size limit is now 30 inches, the daily bag limit is one fish, and Lingcod take is prohibited during November and December.
